Ōita (大分郡; -gun) is a district located in Oita, Japan.
As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 40,723 and the density of 99.35 persons per km². The total area is 409.90 km².
Towns and villages
Mergers
- On January 1, 2005, the town of Notsuharu merged into the city of Oita.
- The district dissolved on October 1, 2005 when the remaining municipalities merged to form the new city of Yufu.
