Okie From Muskogee is an album by Merle Haggard and the Strangers. It is best known for the title song, which touted conservative values in this rebellious era. This album was recorded live in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Originally released in 1969 it was re-released in 1992, 1996, 1997, 2005, and 2006 on other labels.
