The okito box is a cylindrical box, fitted to the size of a coin, that can usually hold up to four coins. Okito boxes are used to perform magic tricks. A coin placed in the box vanishes, appears, penetrates, etc. [Image:http://www.topsecretmagic.co.uk/Porper/okito%20porper.jpg]
Method
Here is a simple Okito box routine in which the coin penetrates through the box and the performer's hand on to the table.
Put the coin in the box and lean the lid against the edge. After some patter, pick up the box, but in a special way. With your middle, ring, and index fingers, flip the box over, and with your thumb put the lid on the bottom of the box. Done quickly this maneuver should be undetectable. Don't draw attenton to picking it up. So now you're holding it. Rattle the box to show that the coin is still inside. Lift up the box, finger palming the coin and keeping the open "bottom" of the box pointed away from the audience. Put the box on the back of your fist, tap it with a magic wand, and open your hand to let the coin drop to the table. Then pick up the box with your left hand and drop it, but not the lid, onto your other hand, using your fingers as you drop it to flip it so that it lands bottom down.
