Okubo Tadachika

(1553-1628), the son of Okubo Tadayo. Tadachika later adopted his own son by the name of Okubo Nagayasu.
Tadachika fought during the Battle of Anegawa, Battle of Mikatagahara, and the Komaki Campaign. Later on serving as one of the commanders of one of Tokugawa Ieyasu's bodyguards. During the year of 1593, Tadachika's father died leaving him control over Odawara. Becoming an important councillor of the Tokugawa house around the year of 1603. Tadachika incured the suspicion between Ieyasu, and his son Hidetada. Things worsened when a fued arose between Tadachika, and Honda Masanobu. Then being censored by the likes of the Tokugawa, going on an anti-Christian mission under Ieyasu's orders. But during February of 1614, Tadachika lost his lands, but during the year of 1687, Tadachika's grandson Tadatomo gained his grandfathers land of Odawara.
