Okubo Tadayo

(1531-1593) was the son of Okubo Tadakazu, serving as a grand general and advisor under Tokugawa Ieyasu. He led a night raid at Takeda territory, with the help of Amano Yasukage, during the Battle of Mikatagahara. Later on occupying an exposed position in Nagashino, taking heavy losses when fighting against the likes of Yamagata Masakage. He was one of the main commanders to in Ieyasu's endeavor to punish Sanada Masayuki, in the year of 1585, which was a failed attempt. Also being tasked to hold the Okazaki Castle the same year, which also followed Ishikawa Kazumasa's defection to the Toyotomi. In the year of 1590, he also received Odawara Castle, with an income of 45,000-koku.
