Okuma Tomohide

(d.1582) served under Uesugi Kenshin during the latter's efforts to take control of Echigo from his elder brother Nagao Harukage. He was a very notable retainer under the Uesugi, but decided to rebel in the year of 1556. Around the year of 1563, he joined up with Kenshin's rival, Takeda Shingen. Due to being forced to escape to the Etchu province, because his rebellion did not go as he planned. He was very loyal to the Takeda even until its end in the year of 1582. He was the leader of many troops under Yamagata Masakage. He was killed when the Oda forces invaded Temmokuzan, along with many other valiant servers of the Takeda.
