Olde English Bulldogge

The current day Olde English Bulldogge is a breed of dog that resulted from one American breeder, David Leavitt []. In 1971, Leavitt began breeding to restore the English Bulldog to its original standard of the now extinct Old English Bulldog, but without its aggressive tendency.
Appearance
Just as the original Old English Bulldog came in various sizes, the Olde English Bulldogge ranges from 80 to 130 lbs (36 to 45 kg).History
By combining the affable modern English Bulldog with the more resolute American Pit Bull Terrier, Bullmastiff, and American Bulldog, David Leavitt of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania was successful in eliminating the English Bulldog's breathing problems and several other health issues, while at the same time diminishing the tenacity of some of the other breeds.Miscellaneous
