Olga Broumas

Olga Broumas (born 1949), is the author of 7 books of poetry, collected in RAVE: 1975-1999, and 4 books of translations of the Greek Nobel Laureate poet Odysseas Elytis, collected in EROS, EROS, EROS, as well as a CD recording of parts of the above, called simply Olga Broumas. She is also known for the innovative practice of co-authoring poetry collections.
Broumas was selected by Stanley Kunitz for the Yale Younger Poets Series in 1977. She is currently Poet-in-Residence and Director of Creative Writing at Brandeis University.
