Oliebollen

Oliebollen sometimes called Smoutebollen are traditional Dutch food. They are traditional eaten on New Year's Eve and at funfairs.
They're made by taking 2 spoons and a certain amount of dough and dropping it into a casserole filled with hot oil. This way a sphere-shaped Oliebol emerges.
Het dough is made from flower, eggs, yeast, some salt and milk. The dough needs time to rise for at least an hour. Oliebollen are usually served with worden meestal met powdered sugar bestrooid.
