-->Oliver "Ollie" McGill is an Australian fusion musician best known for his role as the keyboard player and backing vocalist for The Cat Empire. McGill is also a member of The Genie, a fusion band, and the Conglomerate, a modern jazz quartet. McGill is also a member of various other bands including The Future and 77. All of his bands are Melbourne-based.Ollie was born on the second of November, 1982 and some of his favorite musicians/bands are: Herbie hancock, Phish (but he reckons they're a little corny), dave brubeck, and bach. he owns no doubt shoes.
Notable Achievements
He has played alongside many stars including one of America's most notable soul artists, James Brown, and at music festivals and concerts all over Australia and the world.
He has appeared in two Australian films, appearing both times as a skilled pianist. They were Pearl Harbour, and The Dish.
