Olswang is a UK-based law firm, based in London with offices in Reading and Brussels. Founded in 1981, with a history of strength in intellectual property and media law, it now has over 75 partners and 250 lawyers, and offers a full spectrum of legal expertise with a particular focus on the media, communications, technology and property industries.
Olswang's turnover of £64 million places it only 32nd in the Lawyer magazine's 2005 survey of the top 100 UK law firms [link]; but it is one of the major players on its chosen territory, with clients including the BBC, M&C Saatchi, Channel 4, DreamWorks and HBO. The firm is also becoming increasingly prominent in more general high-profile corporate commercial work.
In 2005 Olswang announced a strategic alliance with US law firm Greenberg Traurig.
