Olympia Hopsonidou(Greek: Ολυμπία Χοψονίδου) is a model and beauty contestant. She won the Miss Star Hellas title, (Greek: Μις Σταρ Ελλάς), in April 2006 and will go on to represent Greece at the 2006 Miss Universe pageant which will be held in Los Angeles, California in July. At the same event Irini Karra, (Greek: Ειρήνη Καρρά), won the title Miss Hellas (Greek: Μις Ελλάς) title and she is going to be representing Greece at the Miss World 2006 pageant event which will take place on September 30, 2006 in Warsaw, Poland. Julia Alexandratou, (Greek:Τζούλια Αλεξανδράτου), won the B Miss Hellas 2006 title, (Greek: Β Σταρ Ελλάς), where she is going to be representing Greece at the Miss International 2006 event in Shanghai, China. The 1st runner-up to Miss Hellas is 22-year old Elena Asimakopoulou. She will compete in the Miss Europe 2006 pageant in France. [link][link]. The Greek media is reporting that apparently Hopsonidou, who spent the better part of her coronation crying her eyes out in disbelief over her win, has since been asked to put on 5 kilograms (10 pounds) by September. Beauty experts now think she is too thin to represent in the Miss Universe competition.Trivia
