Digital Zenith's Omega Basic
Omega Basic allows the use of BASIC language to build mobile games. One of the key featuers is exporting the code to J2ME, allowing further modification and bug fixing.
User Complaints
The forum shows a wide range of complaints from users, who don't get refund, or getting ripped off by buying a feature that doesn't exist in the Professional version (exporting J2ME function). Or validation serial number not being recognized. One major complaint seems to be the slow responses to users.
Conclusion
Although, the idea of easily creating mobile games using BASIC is an appealing thought, the resultant is unstable, and does not work most of the time on phones. To add oil to the fire, poor back-end user support makes things difficult. However, the thought of exporting J2ME code and tweaking it is a promising feature.
