One shot may refer to:
- One Shot (movie)
- a monostable multivibrator
- a comic book which isn't a part of an ongoing series
- a single chapter fan fiction
- In the music industry, a one-shot is a hit song, from an artist or group of artists who actually only made one hit during their career, such as Patrick Hernandez (Born To Be Alive) and Coolio (Gangsta's Paradise); the term one-hit wonder, usually used to identify said artist(s) is sometimes used interchangeably with this definition of "one-shot".

- "One Shot" is video game (or, more specifically, role-playing game) slang for being hit with one absurdly powerful attack that kills your character outright (i.e. 'My Warrior walked around the corner and got one shot by a dragon'). It is analogous to the term headshot in a first person shooter.
