Oodako

, or Daku, is a giant octopus from the movie, King Kong vs. Godzilla. It is first encountered on Faro Island where it was attracted to the berries which were meant for King Kong. In the process, it began destroying the native's village. The combine strength of the explorer's guns and the native's spears couldn't stop it. Suddenly, Kong appeared and combat the monster. The monster managed to wrap its tentacles around Kong's face, but Kong fought back and tossed the monster aside. Then, lobbed boulders at the octopus; who retreated back to the ocean, as Kong pounded his chest in triumph. However, this wasn't the last time Toho would use the giant pacific octopus. He would eventually return to combat Frankenstein's Monster and the Green Gargantuan Guila. Overall, fandoms deem it an underrated monster.
