Ophelia Learns to Swim is the debut feature of Jürgen Vsych, aka The Woman Director, who is also the writer-director-producer of 29 short films.
A wimpy girl turns superheroine when she teams with The Librarian, The Chocolatier and Mother Nature to battle corporate villains Virginia Svelte, Cosmetic Chick, Bitch on Wheels and The Doucher.
The film stars Julia Lee and was filmed in 35mm in Los Angeles. The film premiered just 3 days after 9/11, on September 14, 2001 at the Temecula Valley International Film Festival.
