Oregon Blue Book
Encyclopedia : O : OR : ORE : Oregon Blue Book
The Oregon Blue Book is the official directory and fact book for the U.S. state of Oregon. As Governor Ted Kulongoski notes in his introduction for the 2005-2006 edition, it "provides information about our culture, our ecology, and our government...Here you'll find information on state, county, and local government, government officials, boards and commissions, and our judiciary."
The Blue Book comes in both print and online editions. Oregon Revised Statutes require the print edition to be published during odd-numbered years; it has done so since 1911. The online edition is updated regularly, often daily, and is a superset of the printed version.
The ISBN numbers for recent print editions include:
- 2005-6 edition: ISBN 0966971930
- 2003-4 edition: ISBN 0966971922
- 2001-2 edition: ISBN 0966971914
- 1999-2000 edition: ISBN 0966971906
As a Portland, Oregon-based bookstore stocking both new and used books, Powell's City of Books is one source for both past and present print editions.
