Ormesby

Ormesby is an area in the Middlesbrough / Redcar & Cleveland urban area in North East England and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire. Parts of Ormesby lie within the borough of Middlesbrough and the rest is within the borough of Redcar & Cleveland, though it is usually regarded as being part of Middlesbrough. It was historically part of the parish of Ormesby separate from the parish of Eston but was later included in the Eston urban district. It was incorporated into the town of Middlesbrough during the early 1900s for parliamentary reasons. It has a population of approximately 6,500 residents.
