Hoffe became professor of philosophy at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen in 1992. In 2002, he also became constant guest professor for philosophy of law at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. He's written many books about ethics, philosophy of law and economics, and about Immanuel Kant and Aristoteles.
