Othar Tryggvassen

Othar Tryggvassen is a character in the Girl Genius comic book written and drawn by Phil Foglio and Kaja Foglio.
He is a "spark," or mad scientist with the stated goal to kill all sparks in the world, including himself. He is most often seen as a hero even though he is very narrow-minded: According to him almost all sparks are evil villains who must be destroyed. He is also seen as a great scientist as well as a formidable martial artist, altough he gets beaten a lot, for example he has lost fights against a female "jägermonster", Baron Klaus von Wulfenbach and Gilgamesh von Wulfenbach (who is kind of skinny compared to the huge Othar).
