Ouest Department

Ouest (English: West) is one of the ten departments (French: départements) of Haiti. Its main town is the national capital, Port-au-Prince. It has an area of 4,827 km² and a population of 2,943,200 (2002). It borders the Dominican Republic to the east.
The department is divided into five arrondissements:
- l'Arcahaie
- Croix-des-Bouquets
- La Gonâve
- Léogane
- Port-au-Prince
