Overbrook High School is officially designated by the School District of Philadelphia as Location #402, in the West Region. As of 2005, the school principal of Overbrook is Ethelyn Payne Young.
Although the school's population fluctuates, enrollment for 2004-2005 was 2,075 students (grades 9-12). Although some students are White, Asian, or Latino, 99% of the student population is African American.

Shirts may be white or black. Bottoms may be khaki or black.
