Owariasahi (尾張旭市; -shi) is a city located in Aichi, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 77,225 and the density of 3,673.88 persons per km². The total area is 21.02 km². The city was once part of Higashikasugai District until December 1, 1970, which will eliminate Higashikasugai District.
The city was founded on December 1, 1970. The town changed from Asahi to the current name to avoid confusion with another Asahi.
