Following their review of parliamentary representation in Oxfordshire, the Boundary Commission for England has made changes to the existing arrangement as a consequence of population changes. The electoral wards used in the creation of the modified constituency are;
- From the district of Vale of White Horse - Abingdon Abbey and Barton, Abingdon Caldecott, Abingdon Dunmore, Abingdon Fitzharris, Abingdon Northcourt, Abingdon Ock Meadow, Abingdon Peachcroft, Appleton and Cumnor, Kennington and South Hinksey, North Hinksey and Wytham, Radley, and Sunningwell and Wootton.
- From the city of Oxford - Jericho and Osney, North, St Margaret’s, Summertown, and Wolvercote
- From the district of Cherwell - Kidlington North, Kidlington South, and Yarnton, Gosford and Water Eaton
- This revision will remove most of the colleges of the University of Oxford from the constituency,leaving only St. Hugh's, L.M.H, St. Anne's, Somerville and Green.
