Oxygen absorber
Encyclopedia : O : OX : OXY : Oxygen absorber
An oxygen absorber is a packet filled with iron particles that does not let anything except oxygen through. Moisture in the package or absorbed by the package combines with the iron and oxygen to rust the iron. This traps the oxygen and usually lets off heat. They are used in food packaging to prevent spoiling.
