Päijänne

Päijänne (IPA: /pæijænːe/) is the second biggest lake in Finland (1,080 km² water area). The lake drains into the Gulf of Finland via the river Kymijoki. An underground aqueduct connects the lake to Helsinki, providing the capital area with water.
