P. H. Omlor was a traditionalist Roman Catholic writer, born in America but latterly resident in Western Australia, who opposed the reforms of the Second Vatican Council. He is best known for his 1967 statements that the post-conciliar rite of consecration was not valid in accord with the philosophy and theology of 19 centuries of saints, fathers of the Church and doctors of the Church. He is still quoted by extremely conservative Catholics to this day, and in his subsequent pamphlets has allied himself with sedevacantism, that is, the belief that there is currently no pope at all.
