Pacaembu is a municipality/county in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. Its coordinates are . The population in 2004 is 12,596, the area is 340.69 km² The elevation is 415 m. This place name comes from the Tupi language.
Pacaembu is also the name of a soccer stadium owned by the City of São Paulo (see Estádio do Pacaembu). Soccer fans call the stadium as Corinthians (popular Brazilian team) home because that club doesn't really have its own stadium. It has the capacity for 38,800 people.
