Pahaliah is a
guardian angel invoked to convert non-Christians to
Christianity. He rules theology and morals and is one of the angels bearing the mystical name of the God Shemhamphorae (
Heb. שם המפורש
Shem ha-mephorash — "the Ineffable Name", i.e. the
Tetragrammaton). His corresponding angel is
Sothis, who is an angel of an hour.
