Pakbeng

Pakbeng is a small town in Laos. It lies on the Mekong river approximately halfway between Luang Prabang and Houayxay. Pakbeng is connected by a sealed road with Oudomxai along the Nam Beng river. The town is a major stop for the boats running from Luang Prabang to Houayxay, a few hotels and guesthouses are available.
