Palawah or Pallawah is a term of self-reference for Aboriginal people of Tasmania.
Other names used by Australian Aboriginal people
There are a number of names from Aboriginal languages commonly used to identify groups based on geography:- Koori (or Koorie) in New South Wales and Victoria
- Murri in southern Queensland
- Nunga in South Australia.
- Noongar in southern Western Australia
- Anangu in northern South Australia, and neighbouring parts of Western Australia and Northern Territory
