Paramount Airways is a low-cost airline operating in India and has its headquarters at Coimbatore, in Southern India
History
The airline was launched on 19 October 2005 by the Paramount Group, a leading Indian textile manufacturer based in Madurai.
Fleet
The airline's fleet currently includes two Embraer 170s.
The 14 July 2005, the company placed an order for 5 planes (2 Embraer 170s and 3 Embraer 175s) at the Paris Air Show, 2005. The Embraer 170s would be taken on direct lease from the manufacturer and the Embraer 175s would be leased through GE Commercial Aviation Services.[#endnote_AW]
Current Destinations
Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Bangalore, Kochi, Madurai, Hyderabad
Paramount had suspended its operations from Delhi, and presently operates only in South India connecting Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Madurai.
