Paramount Classics

Paramount Classics, also known as Paramount Vantage, is the specialty films division of Paramount Pictures (which in turn is owned by Viacom), charged with producing, purchasing, distributing and marketing films, generally those with a more "art house" feel than films made and distributed by its parent company.

Studio executives
Paramount Classics appointed former Endeavor partner John Lesher to serve as President in November 2005.Former Miramax exec and producer Amy Israel is Executive Vice-President of Production and Acquisitions.
Chad Hamilton is Vice-President of Production.
Note: although the studio is currently called Paramount Classics, the unit is expected to undergo a name change in the near future to Paramount Vantage [link].
