Patamon

Patamon is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise. He is a small flying creature that easily resembles a hamster with bat-like wings for ears. He tends to be childish, curious and slightly spoiled but is very caring in general. In Digimon Adventure, he is the partner of TK. He is voiced by Laura Summer/Miwa Matsumoto (Adventure-Adventure 02) and Bridget Hoffman/Araki Kae (Frontier).

Digimon Adventure

Patamon is the playful partner of T.K. and the last of the original seven to Digivolve to Champion. It occurred during the final fight with Devimon when T.K. was in desperate need of help. After neutralizing the other six DigiDestined and their partner Digimon, Devimon advanced on T.K. and Patamon with the initiative to kill them first. Patamon Digivolved to Angemon and, in a suicide attempt to defeat Devimon, he was donated power by the other Digimon. He defeated Devimon by sacrificing himself, with a few last words to his partner, who was immensely saddened by what he would almost immediately discover to be only a short-lived loss. Patamon was also the last of the eight digimon to digivolve into his Ultimate form.

Digimon Adventure 02

Four years later, when the Digimon Emperor was conquering the Digital World, Patamon was reunited with T.K. but the Emperor's Control Spires made him unable to Digivolve to Angemon when in their presence. However, through the Digi-Egg of Hope, Patamon could Armor Digivolve to Pegasusmon. Davis became very annoyed in one episode when he discovered without the spires Patamon could digivolve into Angemon and Veemon could only armor digivolve, which only served to make him more jealous of the bond he shared with Kari. When BlackWarGreymon went on a rampage, Patamon became a much needed ally when, as Angemon, he and Ankylomon DNA Digivolved to form Shakkoumon. During the events in the 02 CD drama, taking place on Valentine's Day 03, Patamon armored digivolved to Manbomon when TK ended up with Kari's D-Terminal.

Digimon Frontier

Patamon is the playful reincarnation of Seraphimon, raised by Bokomon. Appearing in the 2nd half of the series, Patamon was an important part of the cast due to his ability to sense evil energy from Cherubimon and the Royal Knights.

V-Tamer

Taichi Yagami and Zeromaru encountered a Patamon while on their way to Myotismon's domain and followed them. Unknown to them, that Patamon was really a Bakemon in disguise. Another Patamon worked for Doctor Jijimon in Hospitown while one is seen alerting Lord Holy Angemon about Neo Saiba's invasion.

Digimon Next

A Patamon was seen fighting a Salamon at the Battle Stage in the Net Game World. When Piximon, Tsurugi Tatsuno and Agumon came to the Digital World, they first stopped at a village inhabited by Patamon.
