Patani region

The Patani region, also called Patani Raya and Patani Darussalam, is a region in southern Thailand. It consists of the provinces of Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, and Satun, and a part of Songkhla.

The local languages used in the region is Patani Malay, Setul Malay (Satun Malay) and Thai.
