Paul-Henri Mathieu (born January 12, 1982 in Strasbourg) is a professional male French tennis player. His career-high ATP Entry ranking is #32 (May 22, 2006). He is currently ranked 35th.
On October 14, 2002 he became world no. 36 and was the ATP Newcomer of the Year.
He has won two ATP Singles titles in his career and he nearly won the Davis Cup in 2002 with the French Davis Cup team, but lost the last match to Mikhail Youzhny. Is 4th ranked French professional tennis player.
He was recently upset by veteran Mark Philippoussis in the first round of the 2006 Wimbledon Championships
Has two brothers Jean, and Mark.
