A pebibit (a contraction of peta binary bit) is a unit of information or computer storage, abbreviated Pibit or sometimes Pib
The pebibit is closely related to the petabit, which can either be a synonym for pebibit, or refer to 1015 bits = 1,000,000,000,000,000 bits, depending on context.
