Penderry is the name of an electoral ward and a community in the City and County of Swansea, South Wales.

The electoral ward consists of some or all of the following areas: Penlan, Portmead, Blaen-y-Maes, Fforesthall and Caereithin, in the parliamentary constituency of Swansea East. The ward consists of mainly suburban residential areas.

Penlan

Penlan is the main area in the ward and is the most well known. The suburban district is set on land high above sea level in the central part of Swansea county.

The headquarters of Swansea's main public transport bus company First Cymru is located here.

Blaen-y-Maes

Blaen-y-Maes consists mainly of council housing. The area gained some notoriety in the early 1990s, when bus services to the area were suspended due to bricks being thrown at them by youths.
