Pennfield Senior High School

Pennfield Senior High School is the high school of the Pennfield School District serving Pennfield Township just north of Battle Creek in Calhoun County. The school enrolls 651 students and carries 57 total staff members, 39 of which are instructors. Students usually score above the state and national averages on the ACT exam. About 88 percent of graduating seniors attend post-secondary colleges or universities. About 82 percent of students are involved in at least one extracurricular program. Pennfield Schools expects to finish construction of a brand new, $28M, state-of-the-art high school in July of 2007. This facility will include a 700-seat auditorium and a 1,800 seat gymnasium. The school's mascot is a panther and the district colors are green, gold, and white.
As of Jun 2006 the principal is Barry Duckham and the assistant principal is Thomas Faber.
