Percival Provost

The Percival Provost was an ab initio trainer of the RAF in the 1950s, replacing the Percival Prentice. It was a low-wing, monoplane with a fixed, tailwheel, undercarriage; seating was in a side-by-side configuration.

The prototype first flew in 1950. Production ended in 1956, when 461 aircraft had been completed. The Provost remained in service from 1953 until the early 1960s.
