Peter Gusenberg and his brother Frank may have played a large role in the St. Valentines Day Massacre. He and his brother had planned to kill Jack McGurn but did not succeed. In return, McGurn had made a plan to counter this with his own assassination, on behalf of Al "Scarface" Capone. Peter Gusenberg and his brother played a large role in an assassination attempt on Al Capone himself.
