Peter Heather

Peter Heather is a fellow of Medieval History at Worcester College, University of Oxford who is considered a leading authority on the barbarians of the Roman era. As of 2006, he has written four historical works set in this time period: The Goths, Goths and Romans, The Huns, and The Fall of the Roman Empire, the last of which poses the collapse of the Western Roman Empire as being due to said barbarian incursions.
