Peter Kirk

Peter Kirk (February 15, 1860 – May 4, 1916) was the founder of the City of Kirkland, for whom it is named. Kirk was born in Townend, Chapel-En-Le-Firth, Derbyshire, England and died during his sleep in Friday Harbor, Washington. He is buried outside Friday Harbor.
