2007 Mitsubishi Outlander, the basis of the 4007

The Peugeot 4007 is a SUV sold by the French company Peugeot, and produced by Mitsubishi on the basis of the new Outlander. The equivalent Citroën badge-engineered version will be the C7. The car will be on sale by 2007.

Both the 4007 and C7 will be the first Japan-produced cars sold under a French brand. They will be assembled in Mizushima.

• * 2.0 L (1997 cc) DW10 HDi Diesel I4, 136 PS (134 hp/100 kW) and 236 ft·lbf (320 N·m)
• * 2.2 L DW12 HDi diesel straight-4, 170 PS
• Gasoline
• *SOHC 2.4 L 16-valve MIVEC 170 PS (same engine as the Outlander)
