Phil Cunningham (born in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, England) is the newest member of the English band New Order. He joined in 2004, having toured with the band as a session musician from 2001. He has in theory replaced Gillian Gilbert as a member of the band, but has a slightly different role, with less synthesizer and more guitar work. In the 1990s, Phil was a member of the Britpop group Marion.
