Philadelphia is an unincorporated community in western Marion County, Missouri. It is located about ten miles west of Palmyra on Missouri State Highway 168. It was named for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The town of Phliadelphia is more of a hmalet than a city, it is perhaps what you would call a failing town. Among mnay others the Glascock's were pillars of the community. Pearl owned a Shell gas station that provided quality fuel along with mechani services for years. The sation is now used as a residence in the middle of town. Their is a small school district with a head is Philadelphia (Marion Co. RII). GO Mustangs!
