Pi Aurigae (π Aur / π Aurigae) is a star in the constellation Auriga.

Pi Aurigae is a red M-type bright giant with a mean apparent magnitude of +4.30. It is approximately 840 light years from Earth. It is classified as an irregular variable star and its brightness varies from magnitude +4.24 to +4.34.
