Pierre-François Bouchard

Pierre-François Bouchard (1772 - 1832) was a French captain best known for discovering the Rosetta Stone in the Egyptian port city of Rosetta (present-day Rashid) on July 15, 1799. The [Bouchard Translator] is named after Pierre-François.
