Pita Pit is a Canadian fast-food restaurant serving pita wraps. The first shop was opened by John Sotiriadis and Nelson Lang in 1995 in Kingston, Ontario. In 1997 Pita Pit started to expand in Canada and the United States. There are 197 restaurants across the United States and Canada. The restaurants are usually located in college towns.

The pita wraps contain a main ingredient, like Philly cheesesteak, falafel or chicken souvlaki and include other sandwich toppings available. Based on observational evidence, the most popular pita choice is most likely chicken caesar, consisting of grilled chicken breast, two strips of bacon and caesar salad dressing. Some of the fresh vegetables include tomato, onion, lettuce and mushrooms. Three types of cheese are available (feta, cheddar, swiss), and several sauces (including tzatziki, Caesar salad dressing and honey mustard.)
