Pneumatic tool

Pneumatic tools are tools driven by compressed air, usually supplied by a gas compressor. Pneumatic tools are commonly cheaper and safer to run and maintain then their electric power tool counterparts because they use simpler turbine mechanisms instead of (relatively) complicated electric motors. They also can not typically achieve the same amount of power output as electric motors, therefore they are more common in timber industries such as pine furniture manufacturing and Light frame construction rather then metal or steel industries.
